Prehistory in Glenurquhart: the Archaeology of Drumnadrochit

Talk by James McComas.

Glenurquhart Public Hall Annex, Drumnadrochit. Organised by Glenurquhart Heritage Group. Admission £1.50

James McComas will talk about the prehistoric archaeology of Glenurquhart and Drumnadrochit, focussing especially on the hut circles, chambered cairns, cists and rock art of the Bronze Age and Neolithic. Consideration will be given to the Bronze Age cemetery recently uncovered by AOC at the Compass Housing development in Drumnadrochit.
